Stephen J. Baker, AIA, Principle Architect

Stephen Baker is a practicing Catholic and licensed architect in the State of Colorado.  He has a Masters Degree in Architecture from the University of Colorado at Denver and a Bachelors Degree in Construction Management from Colorado State University.  He has been serving the Catholic Church in its building efforts since 1996.  While working with several leading professionals in the Catholic Church building industry, he has been the project manager and lead designer for numerous Catholic Churches across the nation.

Stephen is also an Adjunct College Professor, teaching courses in design and 3-d modeling, construction document preparation, architectural history, and animation at Westwood College in Denver, Colorado and the Art Institute of Colorado, Denver.   Additionally he has been invited to lecture on digital collaboration and fundraising tools for parishes at the National Form/Reform Conference on Liturgy in Kansas, City this year.

Stephen resides in Arvada, CO with his wife Martha and daughters Bridget and Laura.   Stephen also serves on the Board of Directors for Holy Solies Media, a 501(c) 3 public educational charity focused on the education of student through interactive media.

Tom Thompson, Architect

Tom Thompson is a licensed architect, a founding partner of True North Concepts, LLC, and consultant to Stephen J. Baker, AIA.  He has worked in architecture since 1985 and has been a licensed, practicing architect since 1993. Tom earned degrees in architecture from Iowa State University and Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He has been responsible for the design of a wide variety of projects, including corporate offices, banks, fire stations, manufacturing facilities, single-family homes and even children’s playhouses. His designs have been built in Colorado, Arizona, Iowa and Illinois.  Tom provides a high level of construction experience, project management, and building documentation skills.

Tom is also a College Professor, teaching courses in design and 3-d modeling, construction document preparation, architectural history, and professional ethics and practice at Westwood College in Denver, Colorado. Tom resides in Denver with his wife Barbara, son Sean and daughter Claire.
